Overview
A fast-growing long/short equity platform is seeking a Technology Analyst to join their team. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you’ll contribute across the full investment process, from research and idea generation to portfolio management. The focus is on the technology sector, supporting both long and short positions.
Responsibilities
Conduct deep-dive research and financial analysis on technology companies, building models and valuations that drive actionable investment ideas.
Prepare investment memos, presentation materials, and updates for the portfolio team.
Monitor portfolio holdings, track KPIs, and provide strategic insights on risks and opportunities.
Collaborate closely with senior analysts and PMs, co-owning coverage and investment theses.
Stay on top of sector trends, earnings, and industry developments to inform positions.
Qualifications
2-5+ years of experience at a long/short fund or private equity platform.
Strong modeling, analytical, and research skills; able to translate analysis into investment recommendations.
Deep interest in the technology sector, with experience covering growth and established companies preferred.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-accountability environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
