
Senior Segment Manger - Oilfield & Fuel
Reporting to the Senior Market Director – Fuels & Lubes, Oilfield & Coatings, you will develop and implement a global segment strategy, steer existing business, identify unmet market needs, and translate them into profitable opportunities. You will own business development, new product development, inorganic growth opportunities, deliver commercial and technical objectives, and mobilize resources across the business to ensure successful implementation as part of a cross‑functional team.
How You Will Make An Impact
Deliver financial and strategic objectives for the global segment through:
Continuous optimization of value‑based and market‑based pricing, supported by a deep understanding of global and regional customer demand, supply/demand dynamics, competitive cost structures, and capacity utilization.
Translating strategy into day‑to‑day execution by providing clear direction, support, and guidance to Sales, Product Management, R&D, and other cross‑functional teams.
Leading new product development initiatives grounded in validated unmet market needs.
Own and drive the segment strategy, ensuring alignment with the annual budget, available resources, and broader corporate objectives.
Establish and lead formal performance review and governance cycles, continuously monitoring results and adjusting strategic and tactical plans as needed.
Provide strong, inclusive leadership that fosters a culture of accountability, professional development, high performance, and ethical behavior.
Creating Extraordinary Starts With
BS Degree; MBA or MSc in relevant natural/technical science or applied technology preferred.
A minimum of 10 years of global commercial and technical experience in performance chemicals.
Demonstrable capability of working in a Matrix organization.
Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency is a plus.
