Overview The Showroom Assistant will support the operations of the interiors business, maintain all visual client facing areas, as well as maintaining the organization within the showroom while providing superior customer service to clients and guests.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee all showroom operations and ensure all day to day functions are running smoothly.
Provide superior customer service through client order entry and follow up.
Maintain sample room, supply flow, and organization of showroom; this includes ordering sample replenishments from Italy.
Coordinate all samples request from agents on the East Coast and fabric schemes for clients.
Create and update organizational systems to manage workflow of the showroom.
Assist clients in the showroom with their fabric needs.
Order entry, order follow up, proactive customer support.
Perform various duties as requested by management.
Skills and Abilities Required
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Extremely client focused with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of SAP System helpful.
Interest in Interior Design and Textiles.
Education and Experience Required
College degree preferred.
Compensation Loro Piana uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance and tenure.
While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, Loro Piana reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $25 to $28 per hour.
