About the Opportunity This is a commercially focused analytics role embedded within the Energy Markets and Optimization function of a well-capitalised US power generation platform.

You will sit at the intersection of fuel supply, generation dispatch, wholesale power markets, and portfolio strategy. Your analysis will directly influence operational decisions, asset planning, acquisition underwriting, and redevelopment initiatives across thermal and renewable assets.

This is not theoretical modelling. This is real time performance tracking, real settlement reconciliation, and real commercial impact across a growing generation portfolio operating in competitive ISO markets.

If you enjoy translating complex market dynamics into clear commercial decisions, this role gives you a genuine seat at the table.

The Role The Commercial Analytics Analyst supports day to day performance and long term planning of a merchant generation portfolio.

You will deliver decision grade analytics and performance insights across fuel supply economics, dispatch outcomes, wholesale power and gas markets, and settlement validation. You will also support scenario modelling tied to acquisitions, contracting, redevelopment initiatives, and emerging load opportunities including data center related developments.
