
Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary
The Sales & Marketing Coordinator supports local marketing and sales efforts to drive brand awareness, foot traffic, event bookings, and revenue growth. This role combines community outreach, lead generation, new business development, and marketing execution. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, relationship-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
Sales Responsibilities New Business Development & Outreach
Proactively visit and build relationships with potential clients at their locations, including:
Schools and daycares
Churches and community organizations
Kids gyms and activity centers
Youth sports leagues and teams
Corporate offices and local businesses
Identify and develop new opportunities for field trips, group events, fundraisers, team parties, and corporate events.
Represent the park in the community to generate new business and partnership opportunities.
Lead Management & Conversion
Track, manage, and follow up on all new leads from initial contact through closing.
Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, pipeline status, and conversion results.
Respond promptly to inquiries and ensure consistent follow‑up to maximize bookings.
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets for group events and partnerships.
Event Coordination & Internal Collaboration
Coordinate new group events with the park’s internal operations team to ensure smooth execution.
Communicate client expectations, event details, and special requests to appropriate departments.
Provide day‑to‑day follow‑up with clients and internal teams to ensure a positive experience and repeat business.
Marketing & Promotions
Assist in planning and executing monthly marketing campaigns to grow admissions, memberships, and events bookings.
Coordinate in‑park promotions, seasonal events, and limited‑time offers.
Support the creation and coordinate distribution of flyers, posters, and local advertising materials.
Track and report results of promotions and marketing initiatives.
Community Outreach & Partnerships
Build relationships with schools, daycares, camps, youth sports teams, churches, and community groups.
Help drive field trip, fundraiser, and group sales through outbound outreach and follow‑ups.
Sign up for community events, school nights, and networking opportunities to represent the Urban Air brand and coordinate attendance with park’s leadership team.
Establish and support partnership opportunities with local businesses and organizations.
Social Media & Content Support
Ownership of social media scheduling, posting, and engagement (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) while keeping brands standard within compliance.
Create and organize content (photos/videos) showcasing park experiences, events, and guest celebrations.
Support content creation for birthday parties, attractions, and special promotions.
Monitor comments/messages with replies and elevate guest concerns to leadership as needed.
Email & Digital Marketing
Help manage email campaigns and customer communication.
Assist in updating website/event listings and ensuring promotions are accurate.
Support online reputation efforts by encouraging reviews and responding to feedback as needed.
Administrative & Operational Support
Maintain marketing calendars, outreach lists, and event schedules.
Support group event coordination (school groups, corporate events, team parties, fundraisers).
Work closely with the operations team to ensure promotions are executed properly in the park.
Complete other duties as assigned to support business growth.
Self‑paced training to learn Urban Air Tools and Systems needed for marketing activities.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred).
1+ years of marketing, social media, sales, events, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication skills (phone, email, in‑person).
Comfortable speaking to groups and building relationships in the community.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and peak business times.
Basic computer skills required (Google Drive/Microsoft Office; Canva a plus).
Reliable transportation for local outreach and community events.
