is hiring a

Sales Account Manager

to own and expand key customer relationships across the Pacific Northwest. This role supports a broad mechanical component and configurable automation product portfolio used in complex manufacturing and assembly applications. The position is consultative in nature and requires regular interaction with design engineers, purchasing, and management teams. In addition to revenue growth, this role plays a key part in capturing customer insights that help shape future product offerings, services, and regional strategy. The company offers strong stability, long-term growth, and advancement opportunities as the business continues to scale. Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth across assigned strategic and mid-market accounts Develop and execute account plans aligned with territory and growth objectives Maintain accurate forecasting, opportunity pipelines, and activity tracking using CRM tools Engage engineers, buyers, and technical decision-makers throughout the design-in and purchasing cycle Deliver technical and non-technical product presentations to diverse audiences Support customers with specification, configuration, and procurement of automation components Business Development & Market Insight

Act as a consultative partner to customers by identifying challenges, risks, and growth opportunities Translate customer feedback into actionable insights for internal sales and product teams Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and leadership Maintain awareness of competitive solutions and positioning within target markets Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related discipline preferred 3+ years of experience in industrial automation or technical B2B sales Experience selling mechanical components into automation or assembly environments strongly preferred Exposure to automotive, EV, medical device, or semiconductor manufacturing a plus Proven ability to sell to engineers and technical stakeholders Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills Comfortable managing opportunities and forecasts in a CRM environment Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows-based tools This role is well-suited for a technically capable sales professional who values autonomy, customer impact, and long-term career growth within a globally established organization.
