As our portfolio grows, we are seeking a Senior Portfolio Analyst to provide portfolio-level performance insight, strategic analysis, and executive decision support across our assets.
Role Summary The Senior Portfolio Analyst supports portfolio-level performance oversight, strategic analysis, and decision support across the company’s real estate assets. This role translates operational, leasing, and financial data into actionable insights and forward-looking recommendations.
This is a high-impact analytical role within a growing platform. The position is designed for a strong, independent contributor who can move beyond reporting to provide meaningful insight and strategic support across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business plan vs. actual performance across financial, operational, and leasing metrics
Identify trends and performance drivers related to occupancy, leasing velocity, renewals, bad debt, expenses, and NOI
Prepare variance analyses and recommend corrective actions to improve asset performance
Maintain portfolio dashboards and KPI tracking tools
Operational & Leasing Analytics
Analyze leasing strategy effectiveness, concession usage, marketing performance, and renewal outcomes
Evaluate property-level performance to identify operational inefficiencies or revenue opportunities
Support pricing and revenue strategy analysis in coordination with operations and leasing teams
Translate on-site performance data into clear insights for asset management leadership
Executive & Strategic Support
Prepare portfolio summaries, performance reports, and investment memoranda for senior leadership
Support capital planning, refinancing, and disposition analysis
Assist with long-range planning, scenario modeling, and portfolio optimization initiatives
Develop financial models and sensitivity analyses to support strategic decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Operations, Regional Managers, and Leasing teams to understand performance drivers
Support alignment between Asset Management objectives and operational execution
Provide analytical support for cross-functional initiatives and performance improvement efforts
Track CapEx spending and assist in evaluating return on investment
Monitor leasing-related capital investments and performance outcomes
Identify operational, financial, and market risks through data analysis
Support due diligence and underwriting for new acquisitions or recapitalizations
Qualifications
4–5+ years of experience in real estate asset management, portfolio analysis, property management, leasing analytics, or related roles
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Solid understanding of property operations and leasing performance drivers
Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear insights and recommendations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Excel and performance reporting tools
Preferred Background
Asset Management, Portfolio Analytics, or FP&A roles within a real estate investment platform
Experience supporting operations or regional teams in a multi-asset portfolio
Exposure to capital markets, refinancing, or disposition analysis
