Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Superintendent based in Charleston, WV. The Superintendent will oversee daily operations on the construction site and ensure that all activities meet the project timeline, budget, and safety standards. Responsibilities include managing construction site operations, monitoring safety protocols, coordinating subcontractors and suppliers, meeting project milestones, and maintaining clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders. The Superintendent holds daily huddles, six-week lookaheads and participates in Pull Plan scheduling sessions.
Qualifications
Expertise in Construction Site Management and Construction Safety practices
Strong Organization and Project Management skills
Carpentry or similar trade skills
Layout and survey skills are a plus
Knowledge of Procore and MS Outlook
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field or relevant certifications is a plus
Personal or professional ties to West Virginia are a plus
