Responsibilities

Lead the development of strategic communications plans that enhance brand reputation and growth

Identify and execute high-impact media relations opportunities to boost brand presence

Manage agency relationships to ensure timely and quality deliverables

Oversee the creation of external materials, including fact sheets and news releases

Provide strategic counsel for internal and external communication initiatives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in media relations with a focus on strategic communication

Demonstrated experience in planning and executing media strategies, especially in crisis communications

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and visual software programs

Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in healthcare communications

Expertise in managing media agencies and executing large-scale media campaigns

Familiarity with Meltwater and other monitoring and reporting tools

Strong understanding of social media strategy and digital communication platforms

Ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines
