What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do Catering Sales Manager drives revenue by soliciting, booking, and planning weddings, corporate meetings, and social events. This role negotiates contracts, creates customized menus, conducts site inspections, and acts as the primary liaison between clients and banquet operations to ensure successful event execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation: Proactively solicit new business through networking and sales calls, while managing existing accounts to meet or exceed catering revenue goals.
Event Planning & Coordination: Meet with clients to detail function requirements, including menu selection, room setups, audio-visual needs, and vendor coordination.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, menu details, and contract terms to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
Operational Liaison: Coordinate with the Food & Beverage, banquet, and kitchen teams to ensure accurate execution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
Site Inspections & Marketing: conduct tours of property facilities for prospective clients and assist with marketing initiatives.
Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor and report on sales metrics, industry trends, and revenue forecasts.
What Are We Looking For?
Experience: Proven experience in catering sales, banquet management, or hospitality 2–5 years.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems (Delphi), Microsoft Office Suite, Opera.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and negotiating.
Compensation $65,000 per year
