
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key customer accounts, and leading business development initiatives for U.S. operations, primarily supporting the PMT plant. This role requires strong automotive industry experience, technical understanding of vehicle systems, and the ability to lead new program launches while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development
Drive sales growth across Commercial Vehicle (CV), Passenger Car, Off-Highway, and Defense sectors
Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with strategic growth objectives
Lead commercial discussions including pricing, negotiations, and contract finalization>
Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and support annual budgeting processes
Account Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all current PMT plant customers
Manage daily sales communications with customers
Monitor EDI releases and coordinate closely with the supply chain team to ensure alignment
Maintain strong working relationships with customer purchasing and plant teams
Manage account receivables and support timely collections
Project & Program Management
Lead new program launches and APQP activities
Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, supply chain, and operations teams
Ensure on-time execution of milestones and customer deliverables
Support continuous improvement initiatives tied to customer programs
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required (Supply Chain preferred); Engineering degree preferred but not mandatory
6–10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Supply Chain within the automotive industry (CV and/or Passenger Car preferred)
Experience in drivetrain, powertrain, or chassis components preferred
Experience managing new program launches and APQP processesStrong project management skills
Ability to interpret EDI releases and manage demand signals
Strong commercial acumen including pricing strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and receivables management
