
MWR Supervisory Recreation Specialist (Liberty)

This position is assigned to the Single Sailor Recreation Division; Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Department; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). The primary purpose of this position is to manage and administer a comprehensive and diverse year‑round single‑sailor program which includes day‑to‑day operations, development, organization, facilitation, marketing, and evaluation of recurring and nonrecurring programs within the Single Sailor Program.
Duties Supervision duties include but are not limited to:

Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successfully complete a background investigation. Background investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
Must successfully pass the E‑Verify employment verification check; any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
Physical requirements: bending, stooping, lifting of items, etc. will be required when organizing or setting up for programs or events.
Work may require sitting, walking, long periods of standing, bending and lifting moderately heavy items up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lifting heavier items.
