What will you do?
Drives growth for Schneider Electric Industrial Automation by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, focusing on sectors like oil & gas, specialty chemicals, energy, and petrochemicals.
Key responsibilities include understanding client needs, developing technical proposals, conducting market research, collaborating with sales and subject matter experts, delivering technical demonstrations, and closing complex deals to increase revenue and market adoption of Schneider Electric’s industrial automation portfolio.
SE Sales Executives are responsible for managing the entire sales process from identifying prospects to negotiating contracts.
Drive business growth and meet annual orders for Schneider Electric Process Automation
Grow Process Automation portfolio with new customers
Strong emphasis on net new business sales
Build and establish trusted‑advisor relationships at all levels within our customers’ organizations
Actively prospect and help drive lead generation programs
Build accounts that become Schneider Electric customer‑success references
Review public information (earnings statements, press releases, investor presentations) for the accounts assigned and their competitors to remain updated on key industry trends and issues impacting our prospects and customers
Lead the development and execution of designated account plans and optimize sales cycles using value‑based solution‑selling methodologies with focus on case definition, return on investment and business outcomes
Communicate customer drivers, needs, sales strategy and account plans to internal teams

Travel: 60% mostly day trips with some overnight covering the Southeast USA area of GA, LA, NC, and AR

Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Economics
Minimum of 5 years of complex, solution‑selling sales experience in Schneider Electric targeted industries with a net‑new focus
Utilize business and financial knowledge to create value propositions
Capability to understand Schneider Electric offerings and articulate those offerings to the industry and prospects
Strategic sales, relationship, and account management experience at a major services organization, preferably on a global basis
