(SDC) provides device insurance programs for K-12 districts nationwide—simple plans, fast claims, and flexible repair options. We’re growing and looking for an upbeat, curious, and competitive salesperson who loves turning “tell me more” into “when can we start?” Role Overview
We’re seeking a results-oriented Account Executive to drive new business through high-activity outbound outreach and rapid response to inbound demand. You will engage district technology leaders, business offices, and school administrators, represent SDC at conferences and trade shows, and convert qualified opportunities into new customers. Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach: Conduct heavy outbound phone and email efforts to generate qualified meetings with K–12 tech leaders. Speed-to-Lead: Respond to inbound inquiries within minutes whenever possible; qualify, schedule discovery, and document next steps. Sales Execution: Conduct concise discovery, tailor SDC program options (Parent Buy, District Buy, Hybrid Buy), and close new business. Event Selling: Attend select trade shows and conferences to build pipeline and strengthen partner relationships. Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate CRM notes, forecasts, and activity metrics; follow a repeatable playbook. Qualifications
Demonstrated success in high-volume outbound phone sales (2+ years preferred). Strong discovery, qualification, and closing skills; disciplined follow-up and documentation. Clear, professional communication with executive presence on calls and in writing. P&C insurance license preferred (not required). SDC can support licensing if needed. Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) is advantageous. What Makes SDC Compelling to Sell
