What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with prospective and current customers to drive new sales
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
Provide management with oral and written reports on customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
Participate in trade shows, conventions, and industry-related associations to promote products and services
Prepare professional bids and price quotes while making effective sales presentations to decision‑makers
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of quota‑based sales experience, or at least 5 years of similar experience
Minimum of 2-5 years outside sales or account management experience
Proven background in commissioned, tangible product sales
Demonstrated track record of sales growth and quota attainment
Strong communication, organizational, and closing skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Prior attendance in formal sales training courses
Experience presenting multiple product lines
Aptitude for problem‑solving and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
