Our client, a growing technology solutions provider is seeking a Managed IT Services Sales Specialist with direct experience selling IT services. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, conducting technical discovery, and positioning managed services solutions for small to mid-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the IT Services SME during the sales process, partnering with AEs to assess customer environments and qualify managed services opportunities.

Sell a portfolio of Managed IT Services, including:

Managed network and infrastructure services

Cybersecurity offerings

Cloud and backup solutions

Help desk and end‑user support

Systems management and monitoring

conduct business-level technical discussions with executives and IT decision-makers.

Perform discovery and needs assessments to design appropriate solutions.

Collaborate with Sales Engineers for advanced technical validation and presentations.

Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management within CRM tools.

Achieve or exceed sales quotas through consultative, solution-based selling.

Required Qualifications

Experience selling Managed IT Services at an MSP, VAR, or IT services provider

Understanding of SMB IT environments, including networking, cloud fundamentals, cybersecurity basics, and infrastructure components

Proven success with consultative discovery, qualification, and solution positioning

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts

Highly self-motivated with a competitive, goal-driven mindset

Valid driver’s license and comfort with a field-facing component
