As a Business Development & Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as nurturing and maintaining relationships with our existing clients. You will work closely with our sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and cold calling
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors to identify potential areas for growth
Provide regular reports on sales performance and market trends to the management team
Act as a liaison between clients and our operations team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction
Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our services
Continuously seek out opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the sales and account management functions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the landscaping industry
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
