Things to Know About the Firm/Job
This is a full-time, in-person job at our Tucson, AZ office.
Although background or experience in finance or the financial industry is preferred, we are more focused on finding a candidate who is smart, independent in their work, and willing to learn.
The culture of the firm is very important to us. While there is an emphasis on customer service and professionalism when dealing with clients, internally, the environment tends to be relaxed, flexible, and non-bureaucratic.
Responsibilities
Client relationship responsibilities
Primary point of contact; deliver proactive, high-touch communication and follow-through.
Coordinate internally to resolve client needs and improve the ongoing client experience.
Client onboarding and transitions
Lead onboarding from signed agreement through account setup, transfers, and first-90-day experience.
Manage documentation and coordination with custodians/third parties to keep onboarding on track and in good order.
Meeting preparation, follow-up, and documentation
Prep meeting materials, agendas, and data, and participate in meetings.
Send recaps, track action items, and maintain accurate CRM notes and records.
Service requests and operational coordination
Oversee day-to-day service requests (cash movements, account maintenance, beneficiary updates, etc.).
Liaise with custodians/partners, troubleshoot issues, and escalate while keeping clients informed.
Investment Research & Financial Planning
Perform research on existing and prospective investments
Help in the preparation, creation, and reporting of financial plans
Support for advisors and planning team
Partner with advisors to implement planning recommendations and ensure clients feel supported.
Spot life-event triggers and coordinate next steps with internal/external professionals.
Compliance and risk awareness
Follow firm policies for compliance, privacy, and recordkeeping
Help coordinate relationship-building with centers of influence (CPAs/attorneys) and related meetings/materials.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent computer/software skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong financial literacy and understanding
Experience with a financial services firm, ideally a Registered Investment Advisor
Experience w/ Charles Schwab (i.e. Schwab Advisor Center), or comparable experience w/ TD Ameritrade, Fidelity, Pershing, etc.
$100,000 – $200,000, depending on background/qualifications
