
We’re seeking a
NYC‑based Social Media Manager
with proven experience working with music artists to lead Instagram and TikTok strategy for an emerging artist.
This role requires both day‑to‑day
oversight and occasional in‑person content capture
in New York City (and/or northern NJ).
Responsibilities
Develop and execute Instagram + TikTok content strategy aligned with music releases
Create and edit short‑form video concepts
Film content on‑site 1x per month in NYC
Manage posting, captions, community engagement (posting 2‑3x a week)
Requirements
Direct experience managing social for music artists
Strong understanding of music release rollouts and fan‑building
Proven short‑form video performance results
Comfortable filming with iPhone or DSLR
NYC‑based and available for occasional in‑person shoots
Highly organized and proactive communicator
Ideal Candidate Understands how to build narrative around singles, not just post content. Has a pulse on TikTok trends but knows how to adapt them to an artist’s identity.
