Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for an experienced Public Relations Manager to support the communications team within the Marketing department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations and media relations, ideally in the legal or professional services fields. Responsibilities
Lead strategic media relations to elevate firm brand, reputation, and thought leadership across global markets, ensuring consistent messaging and high-impact coverage. Develop and execute integrated PR campaigns aligned with business priorities, practice group growth, and firmwide strategic initiatives. Partner with firm leadership and attorneys to position expertise in top-tier legal, business, and mainstream media. Conduct competitive intelligence and industry research to identify opportunities and inform recommendations. Draft and edit press releases, media pitches, award submissions, and related content with clarity, precision and persuasive impact. Collaborate on website updates, partner biographies, social media content, and marketing materials. Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations or the Equivalent 5 years minimum of related work experience Strong inter-personal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build interpersonal relationships and propose new ideas Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines Strong attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances. Needs manual dexterity, speed and accuracy in handling office equipment. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption. Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals. Ability to moderate objects, e.g., files, small objects and supplies a short distance. Must be able to lift, carry and move objects up to 25 lbs.

Pay Range: USD $130,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
Pay Range Statement
The salary range for this role represents the Firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications and location.
