is seeking an

Associate Account Executive

to support and grow our specialty store business across both men’s and women’s categories. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented wholesale professional who is eager to deepen their account management skills while partnering closely with internal teams to drive brand growth and commercial success. The Associate Account Executive will manage day-to-day account responsibilities, support strategic initiatives, and play a key role in maintaining strong relationships with our specialty retail partners.

Responsibilities Account Management & Sales Support

Manage a portfolio of specialty store accounts across men’s and women’s collections

Support seasonal selling efforts including market appointments, line presentations, and order writing

Assist in achieving seasonal sales targets and key performance metrics

Maintain accurate order entry, revisions, and follow-ups throughout the season

Business Growth & Strategy

Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and new specialty partners

Analyze sales performance, inventory levels, and sell-through to inform recommendations

Support account-specific strategies including assortments, reorders, and delivery flow

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with merchandising, planning, production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Support showroom operations during market and key selling periods

Operations & Reporting

Maintain account records, seasonal recaps, and sales reports

Track deliveries, address order issues, and troubleshoot discrepancies

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in wholesale sales or account management, preferably within contemporary or designer fashion

Strong understanding of specialty store wholesale business and retail partners

Experience managing both men’s and women’s product preferred

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

Analytical mindset with comfort working in Excel and sales reporting tools

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Passion for fashion and alignment with the Helmut Lang brand ethos

Salary range: $65,000 -70,000*

*The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
