We’re Hiring: Intermediate Interior Designer (Corporate / Workplace) – NYC
MKDA is looking for a talented
Intermediate Interior Designer
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong creative thinker who thrives in a collaborative, client-facing environment and can translate conversations into thoughtful, inspiring design solutions. You should be confident communicating with clients, adaptable to feedback, and plugged into the latest interior design trends.
Responsibilities
Develop space plans and layouts for corporate/workplace projects
Meet with clients to understand objectives, culture, and vision
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and consultants
Prepare client presentations (3D views, elevations, renderings)
Create conceptual designs, mood boards, and design narratives
Specify FF&E and assist with furniture coordination and orders
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate/workplace design
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office
Strong creative, communication, and presentation skills
Detail-oriented, proactive problem-solver with strong follow-through
Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder
