
The Human Resources Director will oversee and manage the day-to-day HR operations for Converged Security Solutions to ensure overall compliance and high-quality, customer-centric delivery of HR services to the organization. You will partner with the CHRO and key business leaders across the company to develop and implement innovative and effective HR programs which foster the satisfaction, growth and development, and retention of all CSS employees.
This is a hybrid role that will require working in our Reston, VA office 2-3 days per week
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide oversight and administration for all Human Resources policies and processes and lead all routine operations including, but not limited to, employee relations, employee engagement/retention, HR administration, performance management, onboarding and offboarding
Work closely with Executive Management, organizational leadership, and the HR team to develop and oversee the execution of HR programs that meet strategic and tactical goals for CSS
Advise management on workforce planning initiatives, organizational design and talent strategies to improve operational effectiveness
Collaborate with CHRO to develop HR strategy which supports overall business objectives
Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, effectively partnering with and influencing others to move HR initiatives forward
Coach and counsel managers throughout the organization on best practices in developing and maintaining a high-performing and engaged workforce
Mentor and develop a team of HR professionals to foster an employee-friendly, service-oriented HR culture
Direct HR policy development and documentation, managing policy adherence to internal and external requirements and regulations
Support and foster a positive company culture by designing and promoting employee engagement activities
Manage, maintain, and continuously improve cost effective and market-competitive employee benefit programs
Administer compensation programs to ensure equity and consistent application of salary administration policies
Administer immigration activities for visa-holding employees
Design, implement and administer effective HR training programs for management and employees
Support succession planning and career pathing initiatives across technical, administrative and leadership roles

actions and strategies which create a culture that reinforces our corporate values Partner with the Director, Talent acquisition, to ensure adherence to and compliance with best practices in hiring to ensure a positive candidate experience and compliance with AAP and EEO requirements Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws, including those specific to the GovCon industry Administer HR metrics framework, providing monthly and quarterly reporting on key people metrics Adopt a "big-picture" approach to ensure human resources policies and procedures fit organizational needs and objectives Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 10 years of Human Resources experience or equivalent experience 5 years of experience in government consulting environment preferred 5 years of experience in an HR leadership role PHR or SHRM-CP certification 2 years of experience with HRIS administration and reporting (preferably with ADP WorkforceNow) 1 year of experience/familiarity with payroll processing 2 years of experience developing and delivering employee training programs, including entry and mid-level managers 2 years of experience designing and implementing company-wide HR programs that enhance employee engagement, retention and overall skills development Preferred Qualifications 7 years of experience in government consulting environment preferred 7 years of experience in an HR leadership role SPHR or SHRM-SCP 3 years of experience with HRIS administration and reporting (preferably with ADP WorkforceNow) Converged Security Solutions (CSS)
