FootJoy is seeking a
Director of National Accounts and Merchandising
to drive growth, elevate brand presence, and deliver premium product experiences across top retail and eCommerce channels. This is a high-impact role for a dynamic leader who thrives at the intersection of sales strategy, merchandising, and digital commerce.
As the Director, you'll manage relationships with major national retailers and pureplay eCommerce partners-including Amazon and Zappos- while developing long-term strategies that keep FootJoy at the forefront of footwear, glove, and apparel categories. You'll lead initiatives that optimize product assortments, enhance brand presentation, and create innovative merchandising solutions that resonate with golfers everywhere.
What You'll Do
Build and grow strategic partnerships with national retailers and leading eCommerce platforms.
Develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue and expand market share across all channels.
Oversee forecasting, investment planning, and brand optimization for Amazon, Zappos, and other pureplay accounts.
Define long-term category strategies to ensure FootJoy's leadership in golf footwear, gloves, and apparel.
Deliver premium merchandising experiences through SKU rationalization, seasonal planning, and exclusive offerings.
Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to bring consumer insights to life in assortments and activations.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
10+ years of experience in national account management, merchandising, or sales within footwear, sports, or retail
Proven ability to develop long-term category strategies and drive revenue growth
Experience managing eCommerce pureplay accounts and omnichannel retail strategies
Strong analytical, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
Expertise in sales forecasting, demand planning, and performance reporting
Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to collaborate across departments
