Provides customer service within a defined customer base while conferring with necessary departments across the organization to ensure customer expectations are met.
Role and Responsibilities
Manages customer base and provides service that meets or exceeds expectations.
Coordinates with various departments in order to develop and maintain profitable traffic lanes.
Solicits outbound freight for both primary and secondary lanes.
Enters available loads with all required information to properly dispatch and pick up the load, create the freight bill, and supply the customer with any necessary EDI information.
Schedules loading and unloading appointments in order to meet customer requirements and to maximize driver productivity.
Monitors all customer specific loads for service issues from the time the load is tendered until it is delivered.
Discusses customer issues and concerns with the appropriate operations and sales departments when necessary.
Monitors customer specific trailer poos and confers with appropriate personnel as needed.
Reviews customer scorecards with customer development leaders and makes recommendations accordingly.
Manages multiple priorities and deadlines.
Receives and carries out instructions.
Manages regular and predictable attendance.
Performs other duties as assigned
