Mythology Distillery is growing across Colorado, and we’re looking for a driven, high-energy sales professional based in the Denver metro area to help fuel our distribution growth.
This is not a desk job. This is a road warrior role.
We’re looking for someone who will be in the market every day — opening new accounts, securing back bar placements, landing cocktail features, and building strong relationships across both on- and off-premise channels. What You’ll Do
Open new on-premise and off-premise accounts across Colorado
Drive new product placements and featured cocktail placements
Build relationships with bar managers, liquor store buyers, and key decision-makers
Identify high-potential accounts and aggressively pursue new business
Ensure strong in-market visibility and brand representation
Track account activity, manage your pipeline, and consistently follow through
Represent Mythology at tastings, events, and activations
What We’re Looking For
Must be based in the Denver metro area
A true hunter mentality — you enjoy prospecting, pitching, and closing
Highly self-motivated and disciplined; you don’t need to be told to hit the street
Comfortable walking into accounts cold and starting conversations
Strong relationship-builder who can convert conversations into placements
Organized, accountable, and competitive
Spirits, beer or CPG sales experience preferred
A passion for whiskey and gin is a major plus
Cocktail knowledge and experience strongly preferred
Bar management and/or cocktail bartending experience is highly valued
Willingness to spend the majority of your time in-market
We would love to find someone who understands cocktail culture, knows how bar programs are built, and can speak confidently with bar managers about menu strategy and featured placements.
Compensation This is a performance-driven role with a modest base salary and uncapped commission.
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000–$90,000+
Entry-level candidates can expect first-year earnings around $60,000 through base + performance commission, with strong growth opportunity as accounts build.
Candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience can expect $75,000–$90,000+ in base + performance commission.
There is no cap on earnings — compensation scales with performance, new account growth, and territory expansion.
This structure rewards hustle, new placements, and measurable growth. The more you build, the more you earn.
