FIRE PROTECTION SALES/SERVICE TECHNICIAN State Systems, Inc., the leading fire protection company in the Mid-South, is growing and is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of fire protection systems within commercial facilities. This includes sales, installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of fire protection systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems. Compensation packages

reward hard working people for their efforts. Potential compensation for the first year is $45,000 to $60,000 with the potential for top performers to earn more! Job Duties

Sell services and products within assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales/service quota and following established guidelines. Inspect, service, install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit/emergency lighting. Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques. Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition. Follow up with prospects. Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures. Service existing book of business and new customers. Core Competencies

Proficient computer skills in Windows based software and MS Office 2000 or higher. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Good organizational skills. Must have valid driver's license and a good driving record that meets company requirements. Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude Excellent interpersonal skills Must possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills Flexible style; perseverance; action oriented; interpersonal savvy Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); customer focused Ability to work a full time schedule Ambitious results oriented individual with entrepreneurial drive Physical Requirements & Exposures

Must be in good physical condition with no limitations. Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather. Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds Must be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly Must be able to push greater than 100 pounds as needed Must be able to pull greater than 100 pounds as needed Must be able to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 12 ft. This position may require the handling of chemicals that may be skin and/or respiratory irritants. Persons may also be exposed to ventilation areas which may have respiratory irritants. MSDS are available. Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening. Benefits
