We are looking for an AI-savvy Associate Video Editor to join our post-production team at Creative Design Group.

This role is designed for an editor who can own projects from start to finish, taking raw footage and delivering polished, client-ready videos independently. You should be comfortable with the full post-production lifecycle: assembly, rough cuts, revisions, color correction, audio mixing, graphics, and final delivery.

Beyond traditional editing skills, you should already beleveragingAI tools to work smarter and produce more content without sacrificing quality.We'relooking for someone actively using AI-powered post-production tools in their current workflow and excited about pushing the boundaries ofwhat'spossible.

The ideal candidate brings strong storytelling instincts, a sharp eye for pacing and visual flow, experience in file and data organization, post-production workflow within Adobe Creative Suite, and hands-onproficiencywith AI tools likeHeyGen,ElevenLabs, Runway ML, Cutback, and EDDIE AI.

You should also have experience producing content for YouTube, Vimeo, or other online platforms, with the ability to handle multiple projects per week and dozens of projects per month.

If you are not currently using AI tools in your post-production workflow, this position is not the right fit.

Role Specifics The person in this position willbe responsible for:

Editing videos from start to finish—frominitialassembly through final delivery

Crafting compelling narratives with strong pacing, structure, and visual storytelling

Performing color correction, audio mixing, and basic motion graphics

Managing revision cycles and incorporating client feedback efficiently

Setting up projects for edit staff

Ingesting and logging footage

Syncingseparate audio to location footage in timelines

Working in tandem with edit staff to meet deadlines

Assistingwith setting up remote access database

Overseeing media storage management and file organization (hard drives and server)

Mastering deliverables and archiving projects to long-term storage

Interfacing with freelance editors to ensure proper project setup and media management

Identifyingand implementing AI tools to streamline workflows and increase output

Training team members on effective AI tool usage

Managing multiple concurrent projects and deliverables in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

The position is also responsible for:

Assistingsenior staff with edit andpost-productionneeds

Exportingcompleted editsfor various distribution channels

Maintainingall software and assets (Mac OSX, server operating system, frame.io, Aspera,MediaValet,shared assets)

Coordinating and troubleshooting edit equipment(not mandatory but nice to have)

Final Quality Assurance reviews

Experience Requirements:

Must be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (especially Media Encoder, After Effects,Illustratorand Photoshop)

Familiarity with broadcast finishing workflows (mix, color, VFX, conform, online)

Familiarity working in a networked server environment

Strong technical knowledge of codecs and transcoding practices
