The Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and publishing content across digital and social platforms, supporting marketing operations and CRM efforts, and ensuring brand consistency in all internal and external materials. This position collaborates closely with hospital teams, physician liaisons, and other departments to support local market initiatives, field campaigns, and broader communications strategies.

Essential Functions

Create and publish engaging content across all social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube.

Monitor digital trends and recommend tools or innovations to improve team efficiency and marketing effectiveness.

Track, analyze, and report on digital channel performance to support ongoing optimization.

Support marketing operations by contributing to campaign messaging, testing strategies, and post-campaign analysis.

Assist with list segmentation, performance metrics, and CRM-based outreach efforts.

Draft, edit, and polish communications tailored to diverse stakeholders, including patients, providers, and internal teams.

Write and proofread marketing materials such as emails, presentations, web content, and sales collateral.

Ensure all public-facing and internal content adheres to brand tone, style, and visual consistency.

Organize and maintain creative assets and content libraries to streamline reuse and ensure quality control.

Collaborate with field teams, physician liaisons, and clinical/administrative leaders to execute local marketing priorities.

Provide production support for campaigns, including print, digital, and event‑related materials.

Assist with simple design or video projects; coordinate with external vendors for higher‑end needs.

Performs other duties and projects assigned.

Requirements Education / Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

Two to four years of experience in marketing, preferably in healthcare or multi‑site organizations.

Hands‑on experience with digital and content marketing in a professional setting.

Qualifications / Skills

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills across a variety of formats and audiences.

Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Constant Contact). Proficiency with creative and productivity tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, ChatGPT, Grammarly, and analytics dashboards.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high attention to detail.

High‑energy, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal communication skills.

Comfortable engaging with senior executives, clinicians, and field‑based staff.

Work Environment Subject to many interruptions. Pressure due to multiple calls and inquiries. Can be high paced and stressful; must be able to cope mentally and physically to atmosphere. Requires spending approximately 90% or more of the time inside a building that offers protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
