
Social Media Manager, Pabst
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Compensation: $70-80k, with opportunity for bonus
The Role Pabst Brewing Company is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our portfolio. This role is responsible for creating earned media moments across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, while also ensuring disciplined, brand specific execution across social channels.
This is a hands-on role for someone who understands that social media is both creative expression and a structured process. You’ll work across Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lone Star, Rainier, Innovation brands, and regional legacy brands, adapting voice, tone, and tactics while maintaining consistency with brand guidelines and business goals.
This role is based in Los Angeles, with flexibility for mobile work depending on key moments, launches, cultural opportunities, and partner needs.
Key Responsibilities
Social Strategy and Execution
Own day-to-day social media strategy and execution across multiple brands and platforms, with a focus on Instagram and TikTok
Translate brand positioning and guidelines into culturally relevant, platform-native content
Create and capitalize on earned media moments that drive conversation, relevance, and shareability
Balance planned content with real-time, reactive opportunities tied to culture, events, and brand moments
Content Development and Management
Partner with internal teams and external creators to develop original, scroll-stopping content
Manage content calendars across multiple brands and platforms, ensuring consistency, quality, and timeliness
Oversee asset creation, management, approvals, and versioning across brands and stakeholders
Maintain a strong understanding of platform best practices, trends, and algorithm shifts
Influencers, Ambassadors, and Partnerships
Collaborate with celebrity influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors to extend reach and cultural relevance
Support casting, briefing, and execution of influencer and creator partnerships
Ensure influencer content aligns with brand voice, legal requirements, and campaign objectives
Tools, Analytics, and Platform Management
Use social media management and analytics tools to schedule, publish, monitor, and report across multiple platforms and brands
Track performance, engagement, and growth, translating insights into actionable recommendations
Partner with internal teams to align social KPIs with broader brand and business objectives
E-commerce and Channel Integration
Support social commerce initiatives in partnership with Pabst’s e-commerce partner
Integrate social storytelling with e-commerce moments, drops, and campaigns where relevant
Understand how social content drives discovery, consideration, and conversion
Qualifications
3–6 years of social media experience, preferably with a CPG or culturally driven consumer brand
Demonstrated success creating earned media moments on Instagram and TikTok
Experience managing multiple brands, voices, and calendars simultaneously
Familiarity with social media management, publishing, and analytics platforms
Strong understanding of influencer and creator ecosystems, including celebrity partnerships
Comfortable operating in fast-moving, high-accountability environments
Highly organized operator who can manage details without losing creative ambition
Strong point of view on culture, content, and brand voice, balanced with openness to feedback
Curious, adaptive, and energized by the constantly evolving social media landscape
Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with brand, legal, sales, and external partners
