In this position… Through the 2026 CEO Communications strategy, work with CEO Communications to differentiate Jim Farley as the Gemba CEO as he continues to transform Ford globally to Build a Better World the right way – for those we serve and future generations.

Primary focus is to work with CEO Communications to lead the development and execution of an integrated strategic plan to deliver the 2026 CEO global Communications strategy.

Qualifications You’ll have…

A bachelor’s degree in communications, organizational effectiveness, journalism, or equivalent education, training or experience is required.

A minimum of five to eight years of related experience.

Excellent oral, written, digital, and strategic project management communication skills.

Broad knowledge of recent industry best and emerging practices, including digital and social platforms to engage key stakeholders, including employees.

Ability to fluidly navigate between strategy and execution -- can develop high-level strategic project plans and also support the CEO at strategic Communications initiatives on the ground.

Proven success developing and implementing strategic communication strategies for C‑Suite executives.

Strategic thinker, high standards of excellence, collaborative, highly focused, creative, willing to take risks, and organized.

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $112,680-212,760.

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.

Responsibilities What you’ll do…

Serve as the POV owner for the CEO Communications strategic projects to drive the advancement of the CEO’s Communications objectives for the year.

Lead big moments/bold ideas on the CEO Communications Plan — from message development, team management and program planning to strategic media relations, cross‑functional alignment and more.

Find new, non‑traditional venues for Farley to reach new audiences that reach customers across our three distinct business segments.

Work with the CEO’s Office and CEO Communications to develop and execute strategic projects that align with the CEO’s integrated, multi‑platform, multi‑channel communications initiatives that advance our CEO Communications strategy across multiple stakeholders.

Ensure projects align with strategic objectives, overseeing project delivery, and managing human and financial resources – including in global markets.

Work with the executive director of CEO Communications to support the CEO at strategic CEO Communications initiatives, as appropriate.

Success Metric: Successful strategic project completion that advances the overall CEO Communications strategy.
