
Drive Impactful Customer Experiences as a User Experience Designer
Aquent is partnering with a leading global technology organization to identify a talented User Experience Designer to support complex internal platforms that enable operational expansion and strategic growth. This role offers the opportunity to shape meaningful customer and internal user experiences in a space that is still maturing its design and research practice.
This position is based onsite in Seattle, WA. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
You will play a key role in championing customer needs, challenging assumptions grounded in technical or operational constraints, and helping cross-functional teams align on scalable, user-centered solutions. This is a highly collaborative and influential role requiring strong communication, systems thinking, and the ability to execute quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role: As a User Experience Designer, you will translate business and technical requirements into clear, intuitive, and scalable solutions. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to refine complex workflows, define experience direction, and deliver high-quality interaction designs for internal systems and tools.
This role requires someone comfortable navigating ambiguity, facilitating alignment across stakeholders, and pushing teams to think bigger while remaining grounded in feasibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Create process flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate detailed interaction behaviors.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements using research insights, usability findings, analytics data, and user-centered design principles.
Facilitate discussions, workshops, or design sessions to drive alignment and clarify experience strategy.
Optimize new and existing features through usability testing and data-informed iteration.
Present design concepts and recommendations to UX teams, product stakeholders, and leadership.
Contribute to evolving design standards and scalable component systems.
Must-Have Qualifications:
6+ years
of experience delivering interaction design solutions for web-based or software applications
Strong foundation in information architecture, usability principles, and complex workflow design
Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma preferred)
Ability to clearly articulate design decisions, tradeoffs, and user impact
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Experience facilitating workshops, design jams, or stakeholder alignment sessions.
Experience working in ambiguous or evolving product environments.
Comfort collaborating with highly technical engineering teams in agile settings.
Experience leveraging analytics data to inform design decisions.
