Job Description Industry: Manufacturing

Job Title: Designer

Duration: 1 year (strong possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and perform design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.

Apply detailed knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) standards to many varied situations.

Act as expert user of 3D CAD systems, with considerable experience in top‑down design work for complex 3D engineering models and components.

Provide document maintenance and oversee placement and routing of electronic circuits.

Create printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication drawings, plan PCB projects and create electronic schematic diagrams.

Provide modelling leadership and counsel to other employees.

Qualifications Job Requirements:

Strong 3D modelling experience using Creo software is required.

Experience modelling complex castings is required.

Experience with iron castings is preferred.

Experience with complex drive‑train modelling is preferred; manager is willing to see candidates with working castings experience versus a degree.

1st shift position, business casual dress code. Will need metatarsals for the first day.
