Manager Training and Development | HVAC Products | Carrier Enterprise | Charlotte Hybrid-Remote Introduction The Training Content Manager leads the strategy, development, and lifecycle management of training content across CE's learning environment. This role collaborates with subject matter experts, training managers, and vendor partners to create high-quality, engaging learning assets that support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and refinement of training materials across all formats (e-learning, instructor-led, job aids, performance support tools)

Manage the full lifecycle of training content projects, ensuring alignment with priorities, timelines, and budgets

Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define training needs, validate accuracy, and ensure organizational alignment

Apply instructional design best practices and adult learning principles to create engaging, effective learning experiences

Oversee third-party development partners to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to requirements

Maintain content standards, templates, governance practices, version control, and compliance requirements

Analyze learner data and performance insights to identify improvement opportunities for content quality and engagement

Monitor industry trends and implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and learner experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field

3–5 years of experience in instructional design, content development, or training program creation with demonstrated project management skills

Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Strong written and verbal communication skills with solid understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and content development best practices

Ability to build effective working relationships with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners; strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification in instructional design

Experience in corporate training or enterprise learning environment

Multimedia production experience (video, audio, graphics) or graphic design/media production knowledge

Familiarity with eLearning standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI)
