The
Grant Writer
will partner with executive leadership to strengthen and expand Treasures’ grant funding portfolio. This individual will lead grant research, write and submit proposals, manage reporting requirements, and help position Treasures for sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is both an excellent writer and a strategic thinker who can communicate impact with clarity, dignity, and integrity. Key Responsibilities
Grant Research & Strategy
Identify foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities aligned with Treasures’ mission Evaluate funding fit and competitiveness Develop and manage a grant calendar Provide strategic insight on funding trends within anti-trafficking, women’s services, and faith-based initiatives Proposal Writing & Submission
Write compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), and concept papers Translate trauma-informed, relational ministry into measurable outcomes Collaborate with leadership to gather program data, stories, and budgets Ensure timely submission and adherence to funder guidelines Track deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements Prepare interim and final grant reports Support stewardship communication as needed Qualifications
Demonstrated success securing grants for nonprofit organizations Exceptional writing, storytelling, and editing skills Experience with foundations, corporate funders, and/or government grants Ability to communicate sensitive, trauma-informed work with dignity and accuracy Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines Self-directed and comfortable working remotely Preferred Experience
Experience in anti-trafficking, exploitation recovery, or women’s services Familiarity with faith-based nonprofit environments Experience developing logic models, measurable outcomes, and evaluation frameworks Remote Compensation: Hourly or monthly retainer How to Apply
