Overview We are seeking an experienced
Director of Emergency Services
to oversee a busy emergency department with
25+ beds ,
100–120 visits per day , and multiple free-standing ED sites. This high-impact leadership role carries responsibility for
clinical quality, patient experience, staff engagement, and financial performance . Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership across the main ED and free-standing EDs Oversee ~70 FTEs and 100+ headcount including managers and clinical coordinators Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards Develop and implement policies, procedures, and evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes Drive patient experience initiatives and accountability for service excellence Manage staffing, labor resources, and departmental budgets to meet financial goals Foster a culture of teamwork, staff development, and professional accountability Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and community partners to grow service lines and enhance patient care Qualifications
Required: Minimum 3 years of recent acute care ED Director or Manager experience Bachelor’s degree or approved education plan (BSN strongly preferred) Active RN license in Texas or Compact state Preferred: Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field National specialty certification (CEN, CCRN, or equivalent) Additional Information
