
Guidepoint’s growing Marketing team is responsible for building and expanding the reach of the Guidepoint brand. As the storytellers of Guidepoint, the Marketing team executes multichannel marketing programs that generate leads, nurture existing clients, and raise overall brand awareness across our three main audiences: Clients, Experts, and Employees.
As a Senior Content Specialist, you will own the strategy and development of Guidepoint’s content across long‑form, website, and social channels. You will translate complex ideas into clear, compelling content that supports brand positioning, go‑to‑market initiatives, and ongoing engagement. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product marketing, and sales to ensure our content is consistent, credible, and performance‑driven.
This position is a hybrid position out of our New York City office.
What You’ll Do
Own the day‑to‑day execution of content across long‑form, website, and social channels, ensuring consistency in voice, quality, and messaging
Write, edit, and publish high‑impact content that communicates complex ideas in simple, direct language aligned with the Guidepoint brand
Manage end‑to‑end editorial process, from drafting to review, QA, and publication
Ensure content meets quality standards for accuracy, clarity, formatting, and brand consistency prior to publication
Optimize website content in coordination with brand and marketing partners to improve engagement, discoverability, and conversion
Repurpose long‑form content into channel‑appropriate social content to extend reach and reinforce key narratives
Support the development of thought leadership materials, including use cases, articles, and supporting web content
Track and evaluate content performance using available analytics, applying insights to improve future content effectiveness
What You Have
Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field a plus)
5–7 years of experience in B2B content marketing, social media, or a related communications role
Proven experience writing and editing long‑form, web, and social content for professional audiences
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
Mastery of LinkedIn, Twitter required, knowledge of WordPress, Meltwater a plus
Experience managing content through structured review and approval processes
Strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritiesExperience supporting multi‑channel marketing campaigns with an understanding of engagement and analytics
Background in professional services, research, financial services, or similarly complex industries
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and dynamic, hands‑on environment
What We Offer The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $115,000. Base salary may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
