Job Summary : This support position reports directly to the Marketing Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Manager of Marketing and the Education Directors in the coordination and organization of ongoing marketing and community outreach efforts. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing tactical support across multiple functional areas of the Department, with an emphasis on donor acquisition and relationship efforts. This support includes, but is not limited to, market/community analysis, prospecting, and management, database management, and general field support. The Coordinator will be instrumental in ensuring departmental collaboration and processes are followed and streamlined as necessary. Opportunities to produce educational and marketing materials will be provided on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities

Speaking – Confidently communicate information and ideas by telephone and in person. Active listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying or asking, taking time to understand the points being made, and asking questions when appropriate. Computer skills – The ability to use/respond to email, open and send attachments in email, utilize basic word processing programs and MedCure, Inc. database. Moderate to high experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word programs. Writing – The ability to communicate ideas in writing, proper punctuation, and spelling. Service- and team-oriented– Actively looking for ways to help others; naturally collaborative. Multi-tasking – Regularly work on multiple concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions. Creativity – Contributing new and improved ways of doing things. Work ethic – Eager to contribute and offer ideas and passionate about collaborating with others. Office duties-Mailing donor cards and check mail. Bonus Skills and/or Education

Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Acrobat Pro Social media community management Follow-up contact with clients, vendors, and associates Accountability

The actions and decisions of the Marketing Coordinator have a direct correlation to the company’s revenue and operations. Decisions and actions may have a moderate to strong impact on reputation and/or customer satisfaction. The Marketing Coordinator works under a normal to high level of supervision.
