Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Create dynamic content: Produce compelling copy, engaging video, and stunning visuals for broadcast, web, and all our social platforms, ensuring a consistent and powerful message. Drive digital strategy: Be our go-to "digital voice," spearheading content creation for our online platforms, especially during those crucial morning hours, and ensuring our presence is always fresh and innovative. Track and optimize: Dive into digital metrics, constantly seeking ways to grow our audience, boost engagement, and make sure every piece of content hits its mark. Collaborate like a pro: Work hand-in-hand with reporters, photographers, and newsroom leadership to shape multi-dimensional daily stories, breaking news, and long-term special projects. Produce impactful newscasts: Assist in crafting our hour-long morning newscast, ensuring it flows with an informative, energetic pace that gets our viewers ready for their day. Edit with precision: Take raw footage and transform it into polished, powerful segments for our morning newscast, telling stories that captivate. Champion newsroom standards: Ensure all story selection and placement not only meet but exceed our high standards for journalistic integrity, vision, and growth. Qualifications/Requirements

What You Bring: A natural storyteller: You have excellent writing skills that shine across all platforms, making complex information clear and engaging. Digital fluency: You don’t just understand social media; you live it, breathe it, and strategize how to leverage every platform for maximum impact. News judgment on point: You know what matters to our community and can make quick, ethical decisions under pressure. Urgency and drive: You’re wired to develop original news content and jump on breaking stories with immediacy. Multi-tasking mastery: You can juggle multiple projects, deadlines, and platforms without breaking a sweat, staying calm when things get intense.
