
Overview
Role with Atlas Copco Compressors LLC including compensation details, remote work setup, and sales responsibilities in the assigned territory. This position is fully remote with a territory within a 1-2 hour radius of Charleston, SC, and requires travel as needed.
Responsibilities
Product Sales (80%): Prospect, source, and maintain quality customers in the assigned area. Achieve and exceed sales goals by developing action plans to identify targets and markets and project the number of contacts to be made. Manage, call on, and sell service products including service plans, fixed pricing repairs, overhauls, etc., to customers in the assigned area. Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity and telemarketing. Establish rapport with existing and new customers (especially key accounts) and respond promptly to inquiries. Introduce new products and service upgrades; research solutions to customer problems; study customer needs and coordinate prime equipment sales with Sales Managers. Support or develop local distributors when they exist. Maintain the customer base, sales activities, opportunities, quotations, and leads daily within C4C. Maintain the highest standards of customer service across the service environment.

Communication and collaboration: Take necessary actions to establish and maintain communications with all relevant stakeholders.
Personal Development (10%): Update knowledge on products and sales/marketing strategies through educational opportunities, reading, networking, and professional organizations; use the Business Portal to pursue personal growth.
Reporting (10%): Prepare activity, losses, closings, follow-up, and budget performance reports; generate monthly and expense reports; provide feedback on field activity and recommendations for product, service, pricing, and competitive developments.
Brand and compliance: Contribute to positive company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image; perform duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards and customer needs; perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2 years of relevant industrial sales experience, preferably in the compressed air industry (required).
Four-year degree in business or marketing or equivalent work experience.
Self-directed with excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; proven business analysis skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Travel required. Valid driver’s license.
Compensation and Benefits
Excellent compensation package, including a flexible benefits plan and a generous 401(k) retirement plan.
Salary range: $65K - $75K base; salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience. Annual bonus potential and monthly car allowance.
