Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an Account Executive to join our growing team. The Account Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with precision and professionalism. You will leverage your expertise in insurance sales and marketing to develop tailored solutions that maximize client value and foster long-term relationships. You will collaborate with a Client Advisor to acquire and retain clients and execute the Total Client Sales Process; perform complex responsibilities and act as the primary point of contact for clients; develop action plans to reach client goals and identify upgrades to grow or diversify the portfolio. A deep understanding of commercial lines of business will help identify client needs and present comprehensive insurance and fintech solutions for current and future risks. The ideal candidate is proactive, with a proven track record in insurance sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering superior client experiences. Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients and prospects Identify new business opportunities and cross-sell additional products and services Meet and exceed individual sales goals and revenue targets via account development and prospecting new business from existing clients Conduct needs assessments and deliver customized insurance and total client solutions Negotiate terms and coverage with underwriters and carriers Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the client lifecycle Collect risk and underwriting information including survey data and loss history Develop and deliver formal insurance proposals detailing coverage, limits, deductibles, and other information Collaborate with Account Manager for submissions and account service, including claims issues Prepare ACORD applications, review loss runs, and analyze claims data Secure quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and present proposals Bind coverage, prepare binders, and issue certificates Provide contract review as needed Process policy changes and related documents Proficient in carrier websites for rating, billing, processing changes, and loss retrieval Meet with clients as needed or directed by client advisor Participate in carrier/wholesaler meetings for relationship development Serve as a technical expert to assist insureds and team members with complex issues Qualifications
Able to function independently and as part of a team Competent in applying established standards with guidance or direct supervision by exception Proven ability to lead projects and teams, delegating tasks and coordinating cross-department efforts Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to grammar and clarity High level of accounting understanding or strong math skills Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail with accurate outcomes Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment Proficient with MS Office and general technology Knowledge of Agency Management Systems; Applied Epic is a plus Maintains continuing education requirements for licensing and professional designations Stays informed about industry information, new production, coverages, and technology Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and/or 7+ years of group benefits insurance experience or equivalent Hold and maintain appropriate state Life and Health License(s) or obtain within 90 days of hire Initiate and maintain CEBS, GBA or other advanced designations Compensation
The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000. Placement within the range will be based on factors including skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity. Work Arrangement
