About the Role At Bothwell Regional Health Center, we believe that food is medicine—and leadership in nutrition is essential to healing. We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Food and Nutritional Services to lead our integrated foodservice and clinical nutrition operations.

This is a high-impact leadership role that blends strategic oversight with hands‑on collaboration across patient care, retail dining, and therapeutic nutrition. What You’ll Do

Lead with Vision: Set the strategic direction for food and nutrition services, aligning with hospital-wide goals for patient satisfaction and wellness.

Champion Clinical Nutrition: Partner with Clinical Dietitians to ensure evidence-based, therapeutic nutrition care that supports recovery and health outcomes.

Oversee Operations: Manage all aspects of foodservice—including patient meals, cafeteria, catering, and retail—with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.

Ensure Compliance: Maintain full adherence to TJC, HIPAA, and infection control standards.

Manage Budgets: Develop and oversee departmental budgets, purchasing, and payroll.

Develop Talent: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team. Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth.

Drive Quality: Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor key quality indicators.

Collaborate Across Departments: Work closely with Nursing, Rehabilitation, and other teams to support holistic patient care.

What You Bring

Leadership experience in clinical nutrition or foodservice

Strong communication and team‑building skills

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance

Budgeting and financial management expertise

Familiarity with nutrition software and EMR systems

Passion for patient‑centered care and service excellence

Qualifications

Education: If Dietitian; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Food Service Administration (Master’s preferred)

Licensure: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with current Missouri licensure or Certified Dietary Manager

Experience: 1–3 years in clinical nutrition leadership or foodservice management
