
Overview
The Account Executive position supports the Account Supervisor and Agency Field Team, as a liaison for the Clients, by managing client's national sales campaign creative inventory and local dealer retail marketing (i.e., Tier 2 Advertising Program). The primary goal of the Tier 2 Advertising Program is to complement brand communications with regional and local market-specific messaging that support dealer sales goals and inventory concerns. Position will manage an active portfolio of taggable retail creative assets, which includes but is not limited to TV, video, audio, digital display and paid social.

A brand steward, proactive thought leader and flexible member of a large team with a keen attention-to-detail for all client deliverables – large or small
Build and nurture the relationship with clients, leading day-to-day client communications
Oversee all creative adaptations for the Tier 2 Advertising Program across local market and select dealership media plans, and ensure quality control across content messaging, tagging and delivery
Partner with AE leading always-on vehicle support for paid social and translate content for Tier2 use
Manage custom creative rotations for markets and dealers, including vehicle/offer versioning and bespoke content, in collaboration with Agency Field Team, Media, Creative, Production, Studio and Traffic Manager
Manage overall Tier 2 out-of-pocket production budget with support of Assistant Account Executive, while keeping client abreast of any budget challenges throughout the year and finding creative solutions to achieve greater production efficiency
Give status updates in meetings for internal and external purposes, guiding the day-to-day development of responsible projects, and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded
Lead communications across integrated agency teams and production partners regarding Tier 2 Program support and creative needs
Aid in development of meeting content and reporting materials for Tier 2 Advertising Program, including but not limited to competitive research and creative ad spend by model, for client, Dealer and Region meetings
Adhere to requirements of Tier 2 Program as agreed upon by client, Governance Board and Dealers
Collaborate and integrate with the other Account Executives on the Account, and inform the Account Supervisor of key developments that have implications for the rest of the account team and/or other disciplines within the agency
Review creative and other agency staff work to ensure that it reflects the strategy and objectives prior to submission to Account Supervisor, Group Account Director, Executive Director and subsequently client
Support additional lines of client business
Lead ad hoc national brand, dealer retail marketing initiatives as well as internal communications, special projects and new business activities, as needed
Requirements
Must be focused on building strong, lasting client/agency relationships based on making progress in achieving clients’ marketing objectives with efficiency
Must have 1-2 years of agency experience
Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required
Excellent organizational skills and ability to self-manage own time according to deadlines
Ability to change priorities and pivot to emerging urgent tasks
Proficient writing and communication skills
