We are now looking for two Regional Sales Managers to join Fibox Inc. in Glen Burnie, Maryland — one responsible for the Eastern U.S. territory and one for the Southern U.S. territory. In these roles, you will have a direct impact on territory growth, customer relationships, and the overall success of Fibox in the U.S. market.
Regional Sales Manager role As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be accountable for all sales activities within your assigned geographical territory. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for the sale of electrical enclosure products and accessories to distributors, OEMs, end users, and contractors, primarily in the Industrial Automation and Electronic markets.
You will work closely with assigned manufacturer representative partners to further develop sales within your territory. This role requires a self-motivated, results-oriented professional who is comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Territories
Eastern U.S. territory (candidate must reside within the region and be able to travel regularly throughout the territory). Eastern Territory includes, but is not limited to: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, and NC.
Southern U.S. territory (candidate must reside within the region and be able to travel regularly throughout the territory). Southern Territory includes, but is not limited to: TX, OK, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, TN, and SC.
Key responsibilities
Travel throughout the assigned territory (50–70%), calling on and servicing customers with overall sales support and training
Work with local manufacturer representative partners to identify, monitor, and follow up on vertical market opportunities and provide leads
Demonstrate products using samples, videos, and catalogs to emphasize unique Fibox enclosure features and benefits
Educate, promote, and sell new products across the territory as they become available
Provide information on pricing, terms and conditions of sales, and lead times to customers, working closely with inside sales, customer service, and operations
Develop territory strategies to increase sales
Seek new accounts using business development tools such as SIC codes, manufacturing directories, local sources, and competitor analysis
Prepare reports on business conditions, win/loss opportunities, and sales achievements related to assignments and quotas
Prepare an annual sales plan and meet or exceed the annual sales target
Act as the subject matter expert for enclosure products within the defined territory
Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong commitment to achieving results
What we are looking for
6–8 years of prior success in sales to OEMs and distributors
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly, gather and analyze information effectively, and develop alternative solutions when required
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in team settings
Ability to read drawings of enclosure modifications (holes, cut-outs, etc.) as required
