Job Title: Hardware Asset Management Specialist
Location: Frankfort, KY
Job Description:
As a Hardware Asset Business Analyst, you will be involved in the day-to‑to‑day processing of hardware requests including all aspects related to the hardware lifecycle including asset tracking, auditing and disposal.
Job Duties:
Asset location tracking: Keeping a detailed record of where assets are located
Receiving new assets: Using ITAM software to receive real‑time information about new assets, such as their model, serial number, purchase date, warranty information, and location
Inventory management: Tracking stock levels and distribution, and alerting staff when stock is low
Hardware asset lifecycle policy: Establishing policies for hardware asset lifecycle activities, such as deployments and disposal
Reporting: Providing detailed reports for all assets contained within our current ITSM system
Compliance: Resolving compliance issues
Skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of products and services.
Strong Data Analytics skills – Candidate should possess necessary skills and experience in performing in depth Data Analytics as it pertains to the various elements of Hardware Asset Management.
Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment for Federal, State, or Local governments or related private sector entities.
Proven researching ability
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance or a related field or work experience equivalent
Minimum (4) years direct work experience in hardware asset management.
IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience – ServiceNow a plus.
Asset Management Professional certifications.
