
MSP Sales Executive (Hunter – New Business)

We are an established technology provider that’s been in business since 1997, with a stable foundation and a rapidly growing Managed Services division. This is not a startup figuring things out — the structure is built, leadership is engaged, and investment is actively being made into expanding the MSP sales team.
You’ll have support: a Sales Director, CRM dashboards in place, lead gen systems running, and direct visibility to executive leadership. But this is still a hunter role. If you want to build territory, close real business, and grow into leadership as the MSP division scales — this is that opportunity.
What You’ll Be Selling Managed IT Services (MSP – MRR model) Cybersecurity solutions (MDR, EDR, SOC, compliance, backups) VoIP / UCaaS solutions
What You’ll Be Doing Prospect and win new logos (cold calls, networking, referrals, inbound leads) Run discovery with SMB owners and executives Present IT solutions in clear, business-focused language Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to close Maintain accurate forecasting in CRM Collaborate with technical leadership on proposals Hit or exceed monthly MRR targets
Compensation Structure Base:
$50K–$60K Monthly Quota:
$5,000 MRR Commission: Full 1st month MRR on Managed IT or VoIP contracts 10% of revenue on Professional Services 10% of gross margin on Hardware Quarterly MRR Bonus: $7K at $60K annual MRR $400/month travel reimbursement
Must-Have Experience (Non-Negotiable) 1–2+ years of MSP sales experience Experience selling Managed Services (MRR model) Full sales cycle experience (prospecting → close) Comfortable selling to SMB business owners/executives
If your background is only SaaS or telecom without MSP-style MRR services, this won’t be the right fit.
