About the Role: We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing & Ecommerce Manager to join our lean, high-impact team. You'll be hands-on supporting our retention marketing efforts, our Shopify Plus store, and help us optimize the customer experience through testing and data. Your key responsibilities will be improving site conversion rate, email & SMS business contribution, and AOV. This role reports to the Director of Retention & Ecommerce and is ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, analytically curious, and excited to grow with a fast-moving DTC brand.
What You’ll Do: CRM (Email + SMS) Optimization
Support execution and maintenance of the email & SMS marketing calendar, including campaign setup, A/B testing, and segmentation
Own briefing in email and SMS campaigns to our agency partners, ensuring creative and copy align with brand standards and campaign goals. Support execution of email & SMS campaigns and flow
Assist with segmentation strategies to drive increased engagement across all client types and improve channel conversion across new and repeat clients
Ensure all campaigns are on-brand, error-free, and delivered on time
Assist in list growth strategy and execution, including pop-ups and lead generation pages
Ecommerce & CRO Optimization
Manage daily Shopify Plus operations including product updates, promotional setup, and site merchandising
Manage day-to-day project coordination with development and agency partners – writing briefs, tracking tickets, managing timelines, QA’ing builds, and ensuring launches go live smoothly
Assist with on-site A/B testing using site testing platform – setting up tests, monitoring results, and documenting learnings
Support loyalty program initiatives and experiments as the program evolves
Data & Reporting
Own regular reporting for email & SMS marketing performance, sharing results on a regular cadence
Assist with weekly, monthly, and ad‑hoc retention, ecommerce, and customer insights reporting
Track and report on key metrics like LTV, churn, CVR, and AOV
What We’re Looking For
3‑5 years of experience in email and retention marketing, ecommerce, or a related field
Hands‑on experience with email and SMS platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive, or similar
Strong working knowledge of Shopify
Comfortable working in the weeds and owning day‑to‑day execution in a fast‑moving startup environment.
Comfortable working in Excel / Google Sheets and translating data into clear insights – not just reporting, but the “so what?”
Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable juggling multiple workstreams
Clear communicator who enjoys working cross‑functionally in a collaborative environment
Resourceful, self‑starter mindset with curiosity and a desire to continuously improve
Nice to haves:
Experience working at a startup or lean DTC team
Experience with A/B testing and CRO tools
Exposure to subscription brands and tools like Stay.ai, Recharge, or Skio
Requirements Hybrid, In‑office 4 days a week (Tribeca office location)
