Overview
Location: New Port Richey, FL (In-Office) Compensation: Based on experience Do you casually watch YouTube tutorials on Excel or AI tools—for fun? Have you ever built a Notion dashboard you didn’t need, just because it looked good? Do you send your friends Google Sheets “just in case they want to use it”? If turning numbers into meaningful insights—and doing it faster with automation—sounds like your kind of fun, you might be the numbers nerd we’ve been waiting for. We’re Shottys—the leader in pre-made alcoholic shots—and we’re looking for a Finance & Strategy Lead. This role is all about driving clarity, speed, and accountability across the business. You’ll own financial analysis and planning while partnering closely with our bookkeepers, tax accountants, operations team, automation partners, and ownership. If you love digging into the data, finding leverage points, and turning good systems into great ones—this might be your shot. Responsibilities
Build dashboards and financial reports that track margins, sales, and performance by SKU, channel, and customer. Dig into sales data to help forecast, set goals, and build accountability systems for the team. Analyze contribution margin and COGS by SKU, customer, and channel to help us make smarter pricing and growth decisions. Support budgeting, planning, and cash flow forecasting across the business. Review data across systems to ensure accuracy and consistency; clean and consolidate where needed. Leverage our ERP and automation systems in new and efficient ways to support scale. Assist with ad hoc projects like new item forms, financial decks, pricing models, or anything else that makes our financial engine stronger. Bring fresh ideas and challenge the status quo—we’re looking for someone who makes the business better, not just the books. Provide executive support with the information, clarity, and insights needed to make fast decisions. Qualifications
Incredibly organized and thorough—you never lose track of details. Analytical mindset—you don’t just look at numbers, you look through them. Moves fast and figures things out—then checks in with the team before executing. Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver results without hand-holding. Tech savvy—quick to adopt new tools and automate what used to be manual. Proactive and resourceful—if you see something that needs fixing, you fix it. 5+ years in accounting, finance, or related analytical role. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Experience with financial reporting, dashboards, and Excel-based modeling. Comfortable with ERP systems and improving financial processes. Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT, Excel formulas, and automation platforms to speed up work and improve accuracy. Experience in CPG, alcohol, or manufacturing industries. Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. Experience with Airtable, Notion, or similar systems (even in your personal life).
