Job Requisition ID # 26WD95574 Position Overview Autodesk is evolving our performance management ecosystem to better support clarity, accountability, and a high-performance culture. We are seeking a PerformanceManagement Specialist to lead the design and continuous improvement of our future performance system including priority goal setting, feedback, check‑ins, and the annual review experience.

In this role, you will be a thought partner, translate insights into clear business requirements, partner closely with cross‑functional teams, and ensure the experience is simple, scalable, and built for agility and impact.

You will support the optimization of an end‑to‑end framework and design both the iterative enhancements and the transformational shifts that enable employees and managers to focus on the right work to drive Autodesk’s strategy forward. This is an ideal opportunity for a mid‑level professional with expertise in performance management, a passion for future‑focused design and strong systems thinking who thrives in collaborative, cross‑functional, high‑impact work.

This position will report to our Director, Performance Management, and it is a hybrid position based in Denver, CO, Portland, OR, Vancouver, Canada, or Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

Lead and optimize the design of core performance management components, including priorities/goal‑setting, feedback, check‑ins, calibration and the annual review cycle

Translate insights, research, and stakeholder needs into clear and actionable business requirements

Collaborate closely with peer and partner People teams to ensure requirements are aligned, feasible, and well‑executed

Design and oversee pilot programs and testing cycles to validate concepts and inform continuous improvement

Prioritize iterations and enhancements to the performance system and tools based on impact, simplicity, and user experience

Ensure the system supports Autodesk’s strategic priorities, fosters a high‑performance organization, and drives productivity and clarity for employees and managers

Monitor adoption, feedback, and business outcomes to guide future improvements

Own collateral and relationships with key partners

Contribute to change enablement efforts by providing clarity on the “what” and the “why” of system changes

Spearhead collaboration with peer and partner People teams to create the critical connections between performance and culture, talent management, technology, data, and learning

Research modern and future‑forward practices related to performance for future design, transformation and application to the system

Minimum Qualifications

3–6+ years of experience in performance management, talent management, or similar people‑related fields

Subject matter expertise in performance management frameworks, tools, or processes

Strong ability to distill data, research, and insights into concise business requirements and future roadmaps

Demonstrated systems thinking and ability to map end‑to‑end experiences

Experience collaborating with cross‑functional partners, including product or engineering stakeholders

Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority

Ability to balance simplicity and clarity with flexibility and scalability

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in HR, People Operations, or Talent Management

Familiarity with performance management systems, HRIS platforms, or enterprise‑wide tools

Experience designing performance moments such as goal‑setting, calibration, or feedback processes

Ability to deeply understand business and manager/employee needs

Experience in change management or driving adoption at scale

Comfort working in an iterative environment with evolving priorities

Constant curiosity and interest in learning about anything performance, change, AI, talent, and people‑related, and ability to apply new thinking or concepts to current systems and practices
