Primary Job Responsibilities

Generate leads through cold and warm calling efforts

Build deep pipeline of future acquisition opportunities

Outbound prospect qualification and company research

Manage and maintain prospect database ensuring accuracy and integrity

Work closely with business development team to progress leads through the deal cycle

Assist in marketing campaigns

Schedule travel and create trip plan for senior members of the BD team

Assist in additional administrative tasks as needed

Be a team player in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Proven experience in sales, lead generation, or business development roles

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with business owners

Self‑motivated and target‑driven mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Results‑oriented approach with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales productivity tools

Strong organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously

Adaptability and willingness to learn about new industries, products, or services

Knowledge of market research techniques and industry analysis is a plus

Local to the Chicago, IL area/willing to relocate

Ability to commute to the Downtown Chicago area 5 days /week

Compensation

Base salary of $55,000 plus uncapped commission potential with OTE of around $75‑85K
